Puerto Princesa, Palawan Day 1: The City Tour

Started the year of 2012 discovering the beautiful island of Puerto Princesa, Palawan. Since our flight was the earliest of AirPhil, we get to spend the whole day city touring.

Plaza Cuartel. Philippine History says that in that very place, hundreds of American soldiers were burned to death during WWII.

Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral was built in 1872 during the Spanish era. I don’t exactly know why the tourist guide suggested a jump shot in a church, but nevertheless, great pic. Lol

Crocodile Farm.... Crocodiles! I am not maarte when it comes to pushing who’s going to hold that or who’s going to try this and all that stuff. Maybe that’s why they say when I am in their trip, money is so worth it. Lol because I do enjoy doing new things.

Kiss mo nga! Dare. Lol

Palawan Binturong or a bearcat. First I was a bit hesitant to hold this animal because of the physical look, but when I started to carry it, definitely heavy but its’ fur is just the same as like your ordinary dog, smells like one too. It surely loves curling around everything.

Mitra Mansion. Very scenic where animals are everywhere.

Binuatan Creations. A woven products made from mangrove grass, amumuting, buri sprigs and vetiver. Of course, me being bibbo and wanted to try it myself. Its not as easy as it may seem.

Lastly, Baker’s Hill. Which I regret for not buying so many cheese breads and pastries cus I finished mine BEFORE leaving Puerto Princesa. No pasalubong left.

Holy Week Fun!

So my sisters Ate Leah (from Dubai) and Ate Mahan (from Singapore) went back home for Holy Week. Ate Mahan’s vacation is actually not planned but since Kuya Bong is in Manila on her birthday which is on April 7 and Ate Leah is in PH for 15 days we all tried to convince her. But unfortunately my eldest sister Tetet (from Canada) couldn’t come home since she’s from half the globe and its too expensive to have a vacation for only 7 days.

We visited our Lola in Tanauan, Batangas. Since its already late we just googled some of the hotels near Tanauan and we stayed in Microtel which is located in Sto. Tomas, Batangas.
