MISS BODY DANCER

March 18, 2009 5:00 p.m. my niece’s Soiree held in Immaculate Heart of Mary College (My Alma Matter) at Saint Francis Gymnasium.

Soiree [swah-rey] - an evening party or social gathering, esp. one held for a particular purpose.

I remembered my soiree 7 to 8 years ago. I was wearing a polka dotted skirt and a turtle neck sleeveless top. It’s probably one of those events that I hated so much because I have to wear a skirt. and the scariest part is that I should have a make- up on. Though my partner that time was my crush (I think.) I cant really recall. Hello?! Almost a decade ago!! Haha

So it is Mikha’s soiree this time.. wow.. bilis ng panahon noh? She’s an incoming high school freshman and I’m an incoming college senior.

Early morning around 10a.m we’re everywhere trying to look for the perfect headband for her red dress. No luck. So we ended up using what Mama bought which is a white ribbon. By 12:00 noon we went to the parlor for manicure and pedicure. And around that time I saw him too and talked to him for what? a couple of minutes. Then after that went straight home. Prepare stuff. As soon as the clock hits 3:30 p.m, Mama and Mikha went to the parlor once again for the hair and make up. So by 5:30 everything is DONE.

Okay fast forward… I just waited home and Mikha arrived home at exactly 11:30p.m carrying a bouquet of flowers and a trophy (or whatever you call it) Ms. Soiree??!?!?!??!! NOT!!! Hahaha But she won Miss Body Dancer. How fun is that? Haha. Soiree. A once in a lifetime experience and looks like she really enjoyed it. She was so hype when she got home with a beautiful smile in her face and now its 12:50a.m she’s already knocked down. Haha

MEDICAL SURGICAL LECTURE

At exactly 09:58pm I got a text message from my friend/classmate Tetai.. “Kuha mo na grade mo sa MS?” wuhoo.. I suddenly felt my heart beating so fast like im having my tachycardia again. I was about to reply “Nope.” And I was thinking I gave my Globe number to Sir Carpon. So probably he won’t text my grade on Sun right? So before sending the text message to Tetai I looked for my other cell phone and there’s one new message. Everything went slow motion. I know I’m over reacting but that’s exactly what I felt. Honestly it’s not an excitement kind of feeling but FEAR. So the text message goes like this:

“Good p.m, CONGRATULATIONS! U passed my medical surgical lec. “keep moving forward” pls indicate ur name 4 reply. Jcarpon. Ur prof and ur friend. Ur grade – 80”

80?! Wuhoo!! Thank God!! Hahaha!! I was super duper worried with my MS grade.. proof? Go to my previous blog entry and look at the left side of my brain. Haha! Then tetai called and she passed too and planned for our thesis revision tomorrow. Haha! Okay..
