Strangers to Friends

I bet most of my "readers" already heard this story but I'm pretty sure some still haven't. So I might as well share it since I'm feeling nostalgic the other day :)

Meeting people from the world wide web is not dangerous or scary all the time.

Agree? Now a days, It's not rare to pour our souls out to strangers from the internet because of the reasons that they don't know us and they won't probably get to know us at all. But what happens when we start to share our thoughts and feelings and realize the common interests and at the end a special connection is made? Friendship can occur.

For the past year I have met some really awesome people online. What I'm saying is online friends that I already met beyond the internet world. What amazes me is actually meeting people with different races, cultures, languages, and beliefs but was never an hindrance to create such great friendship. So I would like to share some few photos of the awmazing people that I have met online for the past year. :)

Of course, Jaymie Peralta (the left most girl) from USA who visited Philippines last year for a vacation. Trivia, the other three ( [Lola] Roxy, Jjoe, Jeff ) I just met them online too :)

Arman from USA like Jaymie, visited PH for a vacation.. the rest are also my friends that I've met online :)

Kelly Leung - I met her when me and my sisters were in Hong Kong for a 3 day family vacation :)

Leticia and Esme (Xuan) Hayashi - I met them April this 2010 with my niece for a 2 week vacation with my sister who's working there :)

A bunch more photos that I've met face to face already from here in PH as well.. But decided to post one photo since we get to hang out whenever we want to. :P

There are tons of other people that I haven't met personally, but even though we have never made face to face contact, I can proudly call them as my FRIENDS.

Now I wonder, who am I meeting next? :)

RECONCILIATION

friendship has its ups and downs. you'll be happy for one second and yet there would come a point that we tend to say things that are tactless and untrue. we might not notice that we did something wrong that may hurt our friend's feelings, or vice versa. either way, best medicine to heal the wound easily? reconciliation.

sometimes reconciling with a friend can be hard to do, especially when your feelings have been hurt.. but yeah, dont throw away a great friendship because of that one single moment. what to do to reconcile easily? remember the good old days. the fun moments. the non stop laughter that you cant even bearly remember what the hell you are laughing at. the memories of being together. ask yourself.. 'what if i never had a chance to talked to them again?' its best to let the time heal the pain and let the anger disappear. try to think of the friendhip at its best.

as you try to remember all the moments that you've shared together, you'll realize how much this person means to you and how important she is. and letting your friend know what you feel is the best way to get past what has happened. one more important thing is to talk. maybe you cant do anything to make everything better but you know things needs to be corrected.

if you are the one that has been doing wrong, that part can be the hardest. but if you can do your best to help your friend understand what happened and what it would take to correct it, then you are one step closer to healing your friendship.

most importantly, heartfelt apology. unintentional or intentional act, forgiveness will come much easier with an apology it all comes down to how important the friendship is to you and no overcoming problems weakens friendships.

When problems arise, you have to remember to see both sides. if you are closed-minded and don't make any effort, then the problem will never start to heal.

Friendships are what keep us going and make us happy, and when you find a good one, don't let it go because of a single moment.

and i personally believe, FRIENDSHIP is sweeter the second time around.. :)

special shout out to my girl, Nicole. much love!

okay, enough said.
